Design Process
A process of creative problem solving with people at the heart of the solution

LOOK WITH FRESH EYES How can you provide a solution without knowing the problem? This stage is about gathering information, learning fast, observing and taking notes. Getting to know a client, their business and it's needs helps to set the context for a new project. Listening comes in very handy too.

CONSTRAINTS ARE HELPFUL Planning up front can save a great deal of time and effort. Starting with an agreed roadmap will help steer the project as it is in progress. It is important to discuss critical factors like timescales and deadlines, budgets and resources as well as imagining what success looks like. Tools like the Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas can be a useful visual aid at this stage.

CROSS THE FINISH LINE It's a great feeling to share in the delivery of an extraordinary project. Each time the shared experience of creating solutions and overcoming challenges brings a wealth of learning and it makes all the effort worthwhile.

I listen, watch, draw, model, brainstorm,
storyboard and create diagrams to conceive, communicate, share and develop ideas.
